Every child has unique needs. Parents should be empowered to choose the school for the child based on individual need. While wealthy and middle-class parents are currently able to choose the schools their children attend by moving to communities with high-performing public schools or paying private school tuition in addition to school taxes, most economically disadvantaged families have few schooling choices for their children.
